ABOUT Kristine Kuzemka

After 15 years as an accomplished litigator, Kristine Kuzemka, Esq. made the decision to transition into a full-time ADR practice. Her passion for dispute resolution stems from her realization that she can make a greater impact on people’s lives by employing her negotiation skills as a neutral.  For the last 5 years she has been serving as a mediator, arbitrator, and discovery referee at Advanced Resolution Management.

As an attorney, Kristine specialized in personal injury and product liability, successfully settling over $70 million dollars in complex civil litigation matters. She was selected to be the first law clerk to the Honorable David T. Wall (Ret). On his behalf, using her strong interpersonal presence, she positively interacted with attorneys, court personnel, and the public, to further efficient resolution of matters pending before the court. Since then, she has established herself as a highly regarded, well-respected and sought-after legal representative. Kristine has a reputation for her strong legal acumen and successful track record of trying numerous jury trials to verdict.

She is uniquely qualified to mediate diverse cases because of her successful and practical experiences in business, real estate, employment, product liability and personal injury matters. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Kuzemka managed a successful staffing and recruiting business in Seattle, Washington with an operating budget of over $10 million dollars and a staff of 15. She is keenly aware of what it takes to give clients exceptional service, how to motivate people and to facilitate effective resolutions. As an attorney with Marquis Aurbach & Coffing, she represented clients with various business and real estate matters and, at the Nevada Attorney General’s Office, she applied her exemplary evidentiary and discovery knowledge, favorably settling substantial cases and acquiring over $70 million dollars for the State of Nevada.

Kristine also serves as a Nevada Supreme Court Settlement Judge and a Short Trial Judge in the 8th Judicial District. Clients often comment about her professionalism, impartiality, and preparedness. Kristine approaches every case with the same dedication and tenacity as her last. One attorney commented on a recent mediation, “Ms. Kuzemka went the extra mile for us. She knew the facts and the law, but more importantly she was able to delicately handle the highly charged emotional aspects of the case. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again.”
